With nearly two decades of clinical experience, his expertise spans acute care, outpatient, sub-acute, and long-term care environments. He is highly sought after for his specialized knowledge in orthopedic trauma, joint replacements, neurological conditions, balance/fall risks, and complex transfer safety precautions.

• Academic & Research Leadership: Dr. Thompson serves as the Co-Director of the Musculoskeletal Health PhD Program and Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Indiana University. He also directs the Molecular Biomechanics Research Lab and the Mechanobiology Core Facility.
