Jon is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and healthcare operations leader with more than 22 years of clinical experience, including 13 years in respiratory care leadership as a supervisor, manager and director. He has directed respiratory care at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston and at HCA Healthcare hospitals in Texas and Florida, where he led staffing, productivity and equipment allocation across acute and critical care facilities and helped plan the 2021 opening of HCA University Hospital in South Florida. Before that he managed respiratory care teams in the pediatric ICU and Level III NICU at Texas Children's Hospital, and supervised respiratory staff in the ICU, emergency and inpatient units at Tulane Medical Center.

His clinical work spans adult, pediatric and neonatal critical care, emergency services and outpatient care, with extensive experience in mechanical ventilation and airway management on Dräger, Servo, Puritan Bennett and Hamilton ventilators. He provides expert review of clinical workflows, respiratory department management, staffing models, clinical documentation and resource allocation, and he has worked with skilled nursing facilities on post-acute care referral partnerships. Jon holds an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport and is a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas.
